My name's Steve and I am the co-founder of jooie ltd. Having studied Product Design at Dundee University and then working for Bruegmann-China as a designer, I have a great knowledge of the manufacturing process along with a huge amount of contacts in the manufacturing sector. My experience and contacts allow jooie to both design, prototype and manufacture virtually anything for our clients!
What I've done.
Education
I studied Product Design at the University of Dundee and graduated with a 2nd class honours degree. My degree has given me a knowledge of the design process and how products are conceived. Being a BSc, I learnt a great deal of coding such as Javascript and PHP. I use these skills regularly to make woring prototypes with integrated electronics.
International Visual
I have worked with International Visual on a number of different projects, from the design of graphics to the design and manufacture of props and fixtures for retail stores. This experience gave me the skills to give great customer service and build amazing relationships with clients.
Bruegmann-Group
Working for the Bruegmann-Group in Zhuhai,China was the most interesting experience of my life. Living and working in China has given me the skills to communicate with Chinese people and an understanding of how to deal with suppliers.
Jooie.
I own an innovation agency called Jooie. We specialise in idea generation and concept prototyping, and also provide sourcing services in China.
